Twitter Twilight Zone

Like many social media users around the world, I have been impacted by this week's attacks on Twitter and other social media.  For the past two days, I have been able to connect with Twitter and receive updates from folks I am following.  However, I have not been able to tweet or add followers. And I have really missed sharing and participating in chats.

Isn't it amazing how quickly these virtual tools become more than optional — virtually essential.  No pun intended.  It also is important to keep multiple communication tools active:  good "old" email, blogs updated (I have been remiss in this area), other social media connections, e.g., LinkedIn amandabatson, Facebook, YouTube –adbpartners where I have posted two new videos, and, of course, the ever present mobile device.

Bravo to all the engineers and tech support teams for their untold hours of work to make social media fully functional once again!
